But another name that is tipped to arrive in Callum Wilson’s place for weeks is Brentford’s Yoane Wissa.
Earlier today, Sky Sports revealed that Newcastle was told to increase or walk away their offer ‘considerably’, where the bees were not interested in our £ 25 million and £ 35 million proposals so far.
Wissas thought he is very enthusiastic about the move – reports say that he wants ‘only Newcastle’ – and BBC Sport have issued a Saturday night update on the deal.
