Pistons sign Veteran wing Javonte Green to 1 year contract

The Detroit Pistons sign Free Agent Vooruit Javonte Green for a one -year -old deal, sources told ESPNs Shams Charania On Monday. The 32-year-old starts his seventh NBA season.

Javonte Green Set to enter the seventh NBA season

Green was released in 263 career NBA regular seasonal competitions (74 starts) on parts of six seasons, an average of 5.3 points and 3.1 boards per match while he shot 50.9% and 33.8% of deep.

He left Radford University in 2019 and drew a deal with the Boston Celtics. The 6-foot-4 wing played almost two seasons with the Celtics before being traded to the Chicago Bulls in March 2021.

In 68 games (19 starts) divided between the New Orleans Pelicans and Cleveland Cavaliers last season, Green on average 5.1 points and 3.2 rebounds while he shot 42.9% from the field and 32.6% from 3-point territory.
