Ryan Hensley is not the only new NL East Reliever with an electric entrance.
New Phillies closer to Jhoan Duran kept his entrance to the twins, with the stadium lights going out and “El Incompendido” by Victor Cardenas, Frerkruko and DJ Adoni who are trying in Citizens Bank Park.
For Duran’s first performance with the Phillies, the NBC Sports Philadelphia broadcast did not break between innings, so that it could show the entire entrance.
It eventually became the right call.
The duo of Tom McCarthy and John Kruk did not say a word when Duran jogged to the hill and was introduced, causing the photos to make all the conversation.
“This is incredible,” said McCarthy.
“It has been a long time since something like that happened at Citizens Bank Park. I don’t think it once happened. I mean, seriously, John. Thanks to the twins for passing this to the Phillies.”
“Yes, this is beautiful,” said Kruk.
Duran made up the hype well by placing the Tigers in the ninth 1-2-3 to close a 5-4 Come-From-Behind victory while the Phillies jumped in front of the Mets in the NL-East.
The star closer could change the comparison for the Phillies, whose Bullpen has been an existing issue for a long time.
Duran has an ERA of 1.97 this season and should strengthen the ninth inning for Philadelphia.
The Phillies, who entered the division with half a match on Saturday, exchanged a few top perspectives, Eduardo Tait and Mick Abel, to Minnesota for Duran.
Philadelphia is also preparing to welcome David Robertson in his bullpen after signing a pro-rated deal earlier this summer.
