Perodua has launched something today, but it’s not a car. P-Circle is described as a super app that brings P2 closer to Mobility as a Service (MaaS) integration. You’ll get the most out of the app if you own Perodua’s upcoming EV, but one of the key components of the P-Circle app is the P-Duit e-wallet, which can be used for all transactions.
“The P-Circle offers mobility as a lifestyle as all these offerings include a significant portion of our online services under one super app. This diversification into technology-based activities is in line with our future direction and the future of the automotive industry in terms of convergence with consumers’ preference to connect their vehicles and even homes to the internet,” said Perodua president and CEO Datuk Seri Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

“We foresee this convergence only getting stronger in the coming years, and we want to prove that we can innovate by delivering all the services our customers need before they ask for them – which is in line with our ‘We Go Beyond’ philosophy. A key part of MaaS is to provide drivers with flexible solutions based on their travel needs and the package we offer fits that description perfectly,” the P2 chief added to.
As mentioned, a key feature of the P-Circle app is the P-Duit e-wallet, powered by Fasspay. While anyone can use this to pay for anything, owners of Perodua’s first ever EV – due to launch later this year – will find it particularly useful as P2 has entered into agreements with all charging point operators to accept P-Duit payments.

Another new feature in P-Circle is P-Guardian, a monitoring app offered together with P-Charge (P2’s EV home charger), which allows EV owners to monitor the condition of their home through the camera embedded in the wallbox. There is also a P vehicle for the EV. The remote control module has functions such as on/off, location tracking, air conditioning control and lock/unlock. P-Charge Mobile sends crew for emergency charging.
There is even a P-Go smartwatch with health data, which can be purchased at P2 service centers. Other features include P-Calendar, P-Marketplace (only official P2 spare parts and accessories in phase 1), P-Chat, P-Entertainment (OTT streaming of local content), P-Home and P-Map (navigation). Why use P-Circle? Of course, there is a carrot: P-Reward offers points.
