Hello! I’ve tried three times to write a post with links, etc., but now I’m just posting a short description of the scent instead.

I’m in the middle of a course that currently just exceeds the limits of my capabilities, we’ll hear more later!

So what do we have here? I take them from left to right:

  • An oldie but really good! Cashmere Haze from H&M’s old perfume line. A simple, soft musk in the style of all white musks ever. Uncomplicated, friendly, warm.
  • DS & Durga I don’t know what. Woody musk without frills. I found that it works really well with sweet vanilla scents to quell the candy feeling in them.
  • Molton Brown Milk Musk. Creamy but cool creamy scent. Comforting! Sometimes I find it too sweet, but I think the cold air outside makes Milk Musk stand out perfectly.
  • & other stories Plants illustrated. I bought this on sale for SEK 170, a real bargain! Perfume is so incredibly expensive these days that it no longer feels like a reasonable interest rate. That’s why I’m happy with cheap and good scents. Plants Illustrated is finely balanced between green, fresh, dry, woody and sharp fruity.
  • Birch & Berry White Forest. It is the same perfumer behind White Forest and Plants Illustrated, Jerôme Epinette. He also created Byredo’s Bal d’Afrique, to which many compare White Forest. It’s hard for me to agree, but that’s mainly because I don’t know much about the Bal d’Afrique. For me, White Forest consists mainly of lemon, pine, a little violet and tonka. Refreshing! Works to relieve mild headaches. Plus points for a beautiful, even and perfect spray function.
  • Casamoratti Lira. I finished this one, which feels really nice. I went through periods of strong feelings for Lira, which then turned into mild disgust. Fortunately, the last time I wore it was a pleasant experience. I know people say it smells like lemon muffin, but this gives me a lot of blood orange! Then powdered vanilla sugar. Simple but very nice.

  • Finally, three travel packages/decants. Björk & Berries Rose in oil format (business gift). Between aquatic romantic and soapy. Similar to Chloé, but slightly crispier. Lancôme La vie est belle Vanille Nude. I can’t wear the original of this one, but Vanille Nude doesn’t look much like its big sister. That’s a good thing. Vanilla, powder and musk. Cute and I felt pretty cute wearing it too. Amouage Guidance 46 is love-hate for me, but she’s starting to draw me to the love side. I’m flirted with the rich jasmine accord, along with pear, saffron and buckets of synthetic sandalwood. Actually structured in a brutal way, it is noticeable that it is only made to attract compliments. Still smells strong 12 hours after application. Remains on textiles for days, if not weeks. You have been warned.

What nice scents have you been wearing lately? Hug
