Payntr Golf announced the launch of his long-awaited Sport Classic line, in which two premium models are introduced that combine timeless style with the performance-driven technology of the brand. Originally developed as trainers, the designs caught the attention of Payntr Golf Equity partner and large champion Jason Day, who immediately asked that they were being adapted for the golf course.
The result is the Sport Classic Le and Sport MID LE RS, two innovative models that merge with Payntr’s proven land -up performance technologies.
“When Jason saw the trainer versions of these shoes for the first time, his reaction was immediately that he wanted them to build as golf shoes,” said Mike Forsey, co-founder and president of Payntr Golf. “That excitement validated our conviction that golfers want footwear that combines classic styling with modern performance technologies. The Sport Classic Line delivers that exactly.”
The Sport Classic Le (MSRP: $ 160) available in three colors, has a full grain leather upper with a waterproof+ breathable membrane, which provides protection for all weather conditions without compromise comfort. The shoe is built on Payntr’s PMX speed speed and PMxnitro+ midsole for lightweight energy-recovery and stability, with a TPU outdoor sole and ortholite ™ 3D-formed footbed that dampens and support all day.
The Sport Mid RS (MSRP: $ 180) elevates the formula with a middle-cut silhouette, pro tour flex peak attractions system and the same premium full-grain leather upper and waterproof+ membrane. A PMXNitro+ Midole and Ortholite ™ footbed also improves comfort and response for golfers that demand maximum performance.
The women’s sports classic Le (MSRP: $ 150) offers the same premium craftsmanship and performance innovation in two daring new colors, plum and pink. With a full grain leather upper, waterproof+ breathable membrane, PMXnitro+ midsole, TPU Outsole and Ortholite ™ 3D football, the women’s model mixtures elegance with engineering to supply a versatile shoe that is designed for the entire day of playing on and out of the course.
