Former UFC fighter and respected commentator Paul Felder has talked a lot about Flavor Flav becoming the “hype man” for the US bobsled team.
This is in the construction of the Winter Olympics takes place in February in Milan and Cortina. The American artist was inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame in 2013 and is known throughout the country. The agreement was made last October. His vibrancy and personality is something that is missing when it comes to a sport like bobsleigh and his presence can only be positive when it comes to media coverage of the Olympic Games this winter.
Paul Felder praises his taste for flavor

Speaking on the popular podcast Believe You Me, hosted by himself and British MMA icon Michael Bisping, the former featherweight said the following about Flavor Flav as the hype man for the upcoming Winter Olympics:
“That’s absolutely incredible, to see Flavor Flav boost a sport like bobsled. Look at the crew around them. They’re saying – they probably don’t even know who that crazy Flavor Flav is – but they’re saying, ‘This guy has energy.’ These are young Olympians. There is no way. They’re even too young for Flavor of Love, you know? Flavor of Love was his ’15 years later, this is my comeback.’ And now we’re at the point where most Olympic athletes weren’t forming memories while that show was on the air.”
“Dude, the most incredible hype man in the history of hype men: Flavor Flav himself. Fresh off him sponsoring and handling the hype man duties for the women’s water polo team last year. He ingratiated himself with the United States Olympic Committee, I think, and they said, ‘Dog, the Olympics need more Flavor Flav. How can we get you involved?’ He said, ‘Yo, I loved Cool Runnings. Let me work with the bobsled skeleton team.” So yes, that’s his official job at the 2026 Olympics. They’re sending Flavor Flav to Milan to boost the U.S. men’s bobsled team.” All quotes via BYM podcast.
