There were five interesting trots on the program today in Paris-Vincennes, including two monte tests.

The Prix d’Orleans (€46,000, 2850 metres, 15 European six-year-old starters) was held by even-money favorite Patton (6g Trixton-Ellerie Hanover) clocked a time of 1.12.7 kr while Mathieu Mottier rode for trainer Maria Tornqvist and Offcourse KB.

This was the first win in France for Patton, who has now earned €96,137. The Lion (6g Readly Express-Cummin) came second at 81/1 ahead of trainer/driver Bjorn Goop and BS Stable AB. Killer de Cahot (6g Village Mystic) was third at 15/1 for Guillaume Martin, followed by 10/1 odds Nevada Lobell (6g Love You-Urcana As) for Paul Philippe Ploquin.

The 16/1 Madness Sam (4f Funny Jet-Uptown) won the Prix d’Argences (purse €52,000, 2100 meters auto start, 10 starters of four years old) with a time of 1.12.0kr with Alexis Collette on board. Thomas Levesque’s easy winning trainer is owned by Francis Jung and recorded her second career victory for €71,025 earned.

My darling du Ris (4f Scipio du Goutier) with odds of 3.6/1 came second to Guillaume Martin for Ecurie RIS and trainer Roger Pojesek. The 40/1 Miss Lady du Viclau (4f Express jet) came third ahead of Charley Heslouin.

The Prix de Corcassonne (monte, purse €40,000, 2700 meters, eight four-year starters) went to 2.6/1 Mata Hari (4f Face Time Bourbon-Une Love Star) timed in 1.14.3kr ridden by Adrien Lamy for Ecurie des Charmes and trained by Clement Thomain.

Littleton landing (5f Sam Bourbon-Feline du Dollar) won the Prix du Lion d’Angers (€ 40,000, 2850 meters, 10 starters of five years old) at odds of 2.1/1, timed in 1.15.0kr. Paul Philippe Ploquin supervised this Louis Baudron intern for Ecurie Landing. This was the winner’s third win in four starts in France for €92,060.
