Stories that touch you

Pantheon Media Group unites leading production companies creating distinctive content, from groundbreaking documentaries and addictive reality to scripted dramas that ignite global conversations.

The challenge

The challenge was clear: we had to showcase Pantheon’s vast world of content without it feeling like just another production company site. The goal was to celebrate the network, not the reel.

We built a digital experience that mirrors the Pantheon itself: dynamic, interconnected, and alive with energy. Modular storytelling, thoughtful movements and smart content design connect studios, shows and stories in one cohesive ecosystem.

Balancing the Bandwidth (Lots, Lots of Videos)

The Pantheon Network consists of multiple labels that release highly polished content through some of the largest network companies and streaming platforms in the world. So it stands to reason that this site would have a lot of high quality video content.

In development this introduces an obvious challenge. Our designers wanted quick videos on the homepage and a project page with video thumbnails for all featured shows.

Behind the scenes images

Our client used Vimeo to host their content, but we decided to use direct links to the assets in their account instead of embeds. This gave us more control when lazily loading assets, and also allowed us to use the same URLs as video textures for our home gallery effect.

Maintain our focus

The stars here are the shows – and the sheer scale of them. Our job was to let the content shine without the design getting in the way.

We kept things fast, direct and deliberate, using movements sparingly but purposefully. Those quick interactions add energy and craftsmanship without ever stealing the spotlight from the work itself.

How we built it, the Frameworks, Libraries + CMS

Pantheon is built with Next.js + Prismic. This is our go-to combination for small and medium marketing sites when we need a CMS that is flexible enough for clients to build their own case studies and content pages, while at the same time simple enough to give our developers the time to focus on the front-end magic.

As always, we rely on GSAP, Lenis, R3F and Drei to bring the site to life.

Final thoughts

There are always challenges

The biggest hurdle was balancing Pantheon’s ever-expanding content world with a brand in transition. The old site felt dated and did not match the scale or ambition of Pantheon’s network. We needed a platform that could flex, evolve, and present a vast library of video-driven work while still feeling curated, intentional, and undeniably premium.

Work from a solid foundation

Make sure the brand direction is locked before diving in. A brand that is still in development can change mid-project, and when that happens, everything else moves along with it. It sounds obvious, but being eager to get started can sometimes take more time later. Brand clarity is not just creative; it’s strategic. Make sure tone, personality and positioning are established early, and every design decision finds its way.

Adaptability

As Pantheon’s rebrand evolved mid-flight, we pivoted and adjusted the tone, movement and structure to fit a new identity. It reminded us that experiences are not based solely on precision and perfection from the start, but that resilience and the ability to evolve as the brand does can sometimes work for the better.

About ToyFight

ToyFight is the creative studio of Unmistakably Original® that helps brands build the future.

We believe that great work starts with play, curiosity, experimentation and the refusal to accept the obvious. From strategy to storytelling, from design to development: we transform bold ideas into living, breathing brands.

Brand is not just how something looks, but also how it feels. The rhythm, the voice, the spark that moves people.

We pride ourselves on designing and building experiences that work as beautifully as they look, where every interaction counts, every pixel has a purpose, and technology simply gets out of the way.

Work that moves quickly, looks sharp and never stands out.

Because originality is not a style, it is our standard.
