Palestine Action Ban: Massal arrests in London in the latest protest to support the group designated by the terror

The British police arrested about 425 people on Saturday at a demonstration to support Palestine promotion, in the final round of its supporters since the Pro-Palestinian group was banned by the government as a terrorist organization.
Great Britain prohibited Palestinian action under the legislation of anti-terrorism in July after some of its members were broken into a Royal Air Force Base and the military aircraft was damaged.

The group, which is also aimed at defense companies in Britain with ties with Israel, accuses the Great -Britain government of complicity in what, according to its Israeli war crimes, are in Gaza.

In recent weeks, the police have arrested hundreds of supporters of Palestinian action under the legislation of anti-terrorism, including more than 500 in just one day last month, many of them older than 60 years.

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in the vicinity of Parliament in Central London on Saturday to protest the ban, with many who held signs who said: “I opposed genocide. I support Palestinian action.”

The metropolitan police of London said that people were held for a number of offenses, including the attacking of police officers and supporting a forbidden organization.

“Officers … are subject to an exceptional level of abuse, including punches, stairs, spitting and objects that are thrown, in addition to verbal abuse,” the police said in a post on X.

The prohibition of Palestine Action or the ban places the group next to Al-Qaida and ISIS and makes a crime to support or belong to the organization, punishing up to 14 years in prison.

Human rights groups have criticized the decision of Great Britain to ban the group as disproportionately and to say that it limits the freedom of expression of peaceful demonstrators.
The government has accused Palestinian action for causing millions of pounds in criminal damage and says that the prohibition does not prevent another Pro-Palestinian protests.
More than 100 people are responsible for showing support for the group in recent weeks.
