Paddy Pimblett breaks the silence on social media with a stylish statement following his UFC 324 loss

UFC lightweight star Paddy Pimblett made his first public comments since a disappointing loss at UFC 324 to Justin Gaethje.

For the first time in his UFC career, Paddy Pimblett left the Octagon without a win as he lost to Justin Gaethje at UFC 324 last Saturday. Pimblett’s first shot at a UFC title fell through as Gaethje took home the interim lightweight title with a unanimous decision victory.

While Pimblett had some impressive moments against Gaethje, now two-time interim titleholder Gaethje controlled the majority of the exchanges in the cage. It was Pimblett’s first UFC loss after recent wins over Michael Chandler and Tony Ferguson.

Pimblett made no apologies in his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan at UFC 324. On social media, Pimblett issued a lengthy statement and was in good spirits.

In a recent one Instagram post, Pimblett addressed his fans and followers after UFC 324.

“I hope everyone enjoyed my fight as much as I did, I’d like to thank everyone who came out to support and everyone who watched at home,” Pimblett said. “I’m all good, no injuries came into the fight, I felt great, I had a great camp and an easy weight cut, no excuses, the better man won that night.

“Justin, congratulations brother, it was an honor to share the cage with such a legend. Go get that undisputed title your career deserves. Hopefully we can give it back for the undisputed because I still know it’s in my destiny to win that gold! UFC thanks for the opportunity, you all know I’ll be back for that title in the near future.”

Pimblett fell short in a highly anticipated grudge match with Ilia Topuria, a match that could come to fruition in the future. For now, Gaethje will fight Topuria later this year as Pimblett prepares to potentially get back in the win column in his next fight.
