The Indiana Pacers host the Orlando Magic on Sunday, January 4, with tip-off scheduled for 6:00 PM ET. Indiana comes in at 6-29, while Orlando has a 19-16 record as injuries continue to define both rotations.

Indianas injury report remains significant. Tyrese Haliburton is out due to a right Achilles tendon tear. The Pacers are also without Bennedict Mathurin due to a right thumb sprain and Isaiah Jackson, who remains sidelined with a concussion. Obi Toppin is out due to a stress fracture in his right foot

Pascal Siakam continues to anchor Indiana’s offense, averaging 23.5 points and 6.7 rebounds. Andrew Nembhard has taken on more ball-handling duties and is averaging 17.2 points and 6.7 assists.

Indiana lost 113-123 to San Antonio on Jan. 2 after falling 110-112 to Orlando on Dec. 31.

Orlando heads into the rematch with major injuries of his own. Franz Wagner is out with a high left ankle sprain, removing a 22.7-point scorer from the lineup. Jalen Suggs remains sidelined with a Grade 1 right knee MCL contusion, while Moritz Wagner continues his recovery from a left knee injury. Colin Castleton is also unavailable due to two-player status in the G League.

Despite these losses, the Magic are relying on Paolo Banchero, who is averaging 20.7 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists. Desmond Bane adds 18.9 points per game and provides stability on perimeter shooting.

Orlando is coming off a 114-121 loss in Chicago on Jan. 2 after beating Indiana two days earlier.
