Ozzy Osbourne, frontman of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath from the 70s, earned his shame when biting the head of a bat on stage and pursuing a drug-felt lifestyle before he re-inventes himself as a sweet and often dirty reality TV star.
Fans known as “The Prince of Darkness” and the “Godfather of Heavy Metal,” Osbourne died at the age of 76, reported the BBC, referring to a family statement.
He started his career from the hits of Black Sabbath, from “Paranoid” Unpleasant “War Pigs” Unpleasant “Sabbath bloody sabbath”. That plus a series of solo releases saw him sell more than 100 million records worldwide.

The hard riffs and dark topics – from depression to war to apocalypse – combined with an instinct for Halloween -Theatrics. As an artist, Osbourne sprinkled the audience with raw meat and in 1982 he had a meeting with a bat on stage by a fan.
He always thought he thought it was the toy until he bit it, realized his mistake and rushed to the hospital for a shot of rabies. Later he sold BAT soft toys with a removable head.
Osbourne was a regular target for conservative and religious groups concerned about the negative impact of rock music on young people. He always acknowledged the excesses of his lifestyle and texts – but dismissed the Wilder notifications that he was a real devil caregiver.
“I have done some bad things in my time. But I am not the devil. I am just John Osbourne: a workers’ boy from Aston who imposed his job in the factory and went looking for a good time,” he said in a 2010 biography.
Youth
John Michael Osbourne was the fourth of six children, who grew up in Aston, in the city of Birmingham in Centraal -England. He struggled with dyslexia, left the school at the age of 15, did a series of manial jobs and at one point served a short prison sentence for burglary. Then Black Sabbath came.
“When I grew up, if you had imposed a wall against a wall with the other children from my street and asked me which one of us would get the age of 60, with five children and four grandchildren and houses in Buckinghamshire and California, I would not have put money in me, not a way.”
It was the last stages of his life that formed the setting for his reinvention in 2002 as the star of the American TV show The Osbournes.
Cameras followed the aging rock god to make his huge house, pronounced at events in his heavy Birmingham -accent and watch bewilderment at the antics of his family – a format that won all the legions of new fans.

The Osbourne family included wife and manager Sharon, five children, including Jack, Kelly and Aimee, and various grandchildren.
