Our Favorite Entries from ‘Owning Manhattan’ Season 2

Owning Manhattana real estate reality TV favorite, returned for season 2 on Netflix earlier this month. The show follows Ryan Serhant, from Million dollar listing New York fame, and the agents of his four-year-old New York City real estate agency, SERHANT.

One of the best parts of watching the show is getting a behind-the-scenes look at properties that most viewers would otherwise never see.

Inman has gone through the listing photos, features and renderings to give you a closer look at the tailored offerings Owning Manhattan Season 2. Here are our top picks:

It only feels right to start with the building Ryan Serhant used to woo then-Corcoran agent Peter Zaitzeff. Although Zaitzeff protested, saying he had meaningful relationships at Corcoran and that CEO Pam Liebman was good for him, when Serhant offered him the position of sales director for the entire building, he decided to make the move to SERHANT.

The building is sold out for $300 million, listed by Serhant and Zaitzeff, with three units remaining.

The above listing images are of Penthouse 2 on the 49th and 50th floors. Featuring over four bedrooms, four full bathrooms and two powder rooms, with 360 degrees Overlooking the Hudson River and Central Park, the price is listed at $31 million.


After a battle with Nile Lundgren over a listing in Season 1, Chloe Tucker Cain teamed up with Lundgren in Season 2 to list 304 West 18th Street. The offering, listed at $4,995,000, sold for $4,775,000 in October after the duo mini musical listing video to highlight its unique features.


This $17,750,000 is located on the 47th floor in Tribeca. It has four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, spanning 3,576 square feet, plus three private terraces from which you can see the Empire State Building, the Hudson River, and the Freedom Tower. This duplex penthouse in the heart of Tribeca, offered by Zaitzeff, rents for $40,000 per month. With three bedrooms, a home office and 3.5 bathrooms, the living areas span 4,600 meters, plus 70 square meters (two private areas) of fully irrigated outdoor space. From the second floor terrace you can see the Freedom Tower, Washington Market Park and the downtown Tribeca skyline.


The Gallerist Penthouse in West Chelsea’s Arts District, offered by Ryan Serhant, along with Dennis Cusack and John Shaughnessy, sold in April for $10,250,000. The 4,596-square-foot penthouse was designed by AD100 architect Steven Harris in collaboration with Adam Gordon and Tavros Development. Two completely private floors, four private terraces, expansive gallery-ready walls, and a Rosario Candela-inspired double-height gallery at the entrance are just some of the home’s thoughtfully designed features.


Bonus: 150 Charles, 9A

Zaitzeff is known for his work in new construction, having helped launch and sell several high-profile projects in New York City, including 150 Charles. The sale of 9A broke a record for the highest sale price ever recorded under 34th Street, reaching as much as $60 million by 2025, according to Zaitzeff’s biography.
