“Merci, Patrick,” she wrote in an Instagram story. “It was such a great experience with learning you. I wish you nothing but the best. You are one of the coolest people I have ever met and I am sure I will see you in the neighborhood.”

The news came just a few days after Osaka fell open in Emma Raducanu in the second round of the Mubadala Citi DC, and with the US Open that approached on 24 August, the timing indicates its urgency to calibrate again. Currently ranked no. 49, Osaka has compiled a record of 21–11 this season, but since her 2021 Australian Open Titelrun has not been past the third round of a Grand Slam.

Mouratoglou, best known for his decade -long coaching stint with Serena Williams, joined the Osaka team last year after she said goodbye to Wim Fissette. Although their 10 -month partnership flashes with promise, it ultimately did not provide the breakthrough that Osaka sought in her comeback after the mother.

According to Polski-tennis.plWiktorowski has accepted an invitation from Osaka to join Montreal for a trial period in Montreal. He is best known for guiding Agnieszka Radwanska to a Wimbledon final and a career-high ranking of No. 2, and later for playing a central role in Iga Swiatek’s climb to World Nr.

Osaka’s agent, Stuart Duguid, confirmed that Wiktorowski will observe her this week In Montreal to assess whether a more formal coaching partnership is useful.
