When it comes to predicting what the 2025/26 Premier League final will look like after the 38th round in May 2025, Opta has done some analysis.

Using their latest data simulations, to elect Analysis has shown this, as the most likely Premier League table for 2025/26 comes at the end of the season – Predicted table as of October 15, 2025:

So when it comes to Newcastle United, Opta currently thinks that NUFC will most likely finish sixth this season

Newcastle United would finish on 58 points according to their predictions.

As for the chances of winning the Premier League in 2025/26, Opta estimates that chance at 1.11%.

The Opta model currently predicts a 21% chance of Newcastle United qualifying for the Champions League by finishing in the top four and an 11% chance of ending up in the Europa League.

However, Newcastle United have a much better chance of Champions League football than via that top four prediction, if the top five in the Premier League qualify, as happened last season.

When it comes to possible relegation, Opta sees that as a 0.62% possibility for NUFC.
