51 Beach Rd, Collaroy, on the northern tip of the exclusive Collaroy Basin, has a price tag of $26 million.
Collaroy’s famous Point House looks set to break the suburb record for a second time after hitting the market this week with a price tag of $26 million.
The Beach Rd site at the northern tip of the exclusive Collaroy Basin stunned locals when it was sold first as a multi-million dollar plot in 2018 and then in March 2021 as a $16 million state-of-the-art Peter Stutchbury home.
Now, less than five years later, the Grade II listed building with its north-eastern aspect and coastal views has added a cool $10 million to its value.
Pretty impressive when you consider that the average home price for Collaroy is $3.51 million.
Former Boston Consulting Group MD and partner Brad Noakes sold his Queen Anne-style home in Clifton Gardens to buy The Point House in 2021.

The Point House still holds the suburban record.
The characteristic house with five bedrooms and four bathrooms stands on a plot of over 600 m².

In 2019, agent Brendan Pomponio of Belle Property predicted that it wouldn’t be long before the beachside neighborhood of Collaroy, especially the prized Basin area, would see homes worth $20 million.
The Point House still holds the suburban record, so Brendan’s prediction will come true when it sells again.
He is again the selling agent, this time with an expressions of interest campaign.

There are several entertainment zones.
“This is a unique opportunity and when people consider construction costs, turnkey is the way to go,” Brendan said, adding that the owner has added a gym, games room, wine cellar and air conditioning to the home.
The five-bedroom, four-bathroom landmark home sits on over 6,000 square feet of land and features a gas-heated pool, an ocean-edge garden, innovative glass panels that let in sea breezes, a chef’s kitchen, a private gym, a games room, a double garage and a range of smart-home technology.
There are several entertainment areas, bar and wine refrigerators, a fire pit, temperature controlled wine cellar, outdoor beach showers and an automatic front gate.
