Olympic and UFC champion explains why Crawford defeats Canelo: ‘There are many Canelos that are there’

UFC star Henry Cejudo thinks Terence Crawford will have the lead in his high-stakes collision against Canelo Alvarez.

Canelo vs. Crawford, from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, is considered by many as one of the most expected boxing attacks of the last decade.

24 hours away from Fight Night, Canelo is currently as a small favorite, around -165 on sports books, while ‘Bud’ keeps strong as a +130 underdog. Of course not everyone agrees with those opportunities, including the former Two-Division UFC title holder Henry Cejudo.

Breaking down the match on his Pound-4 pound Podcast with kamaru usman, ‘triple c’ said:

“If anyone can do something, it’s Terence Crawford. You know, watching the countdown on Netflix and looking at a little whose Canelo comes in, because remember, it’s a lot harder to train for Canelo then … to have someone who is thinking Terence Crawford to find Canelo.

“There are many canelos that are there.

In his collision against ‘Canelito’, Crawford goes with a perfect 41-0 record, including 31 of his victories that come within the distance. His most recent outing came in August when he won a unanimous decision on Israil Madrimov to catch the WBA and vacant WBO -Interim -Light Central weight titles.

‘Bud’ will add gold to his collection when he challenges Canelo for his undisputed super middleweight titles on Saturday evening.
