“Mr Dubois is currently conditional for theft after he was released from prison in March of this year and was actually arrested yesterday for the theft of the service in Manhattan and released with only a desk -published ticket (that),” Tisch said.

“It is important that before the reforms of the criminal law of 2020, every person who is conditionally free would not have been eligible for one that. Mr Dubois also has a documented history as an emotionally disturbed person (EDP) at the department prior to the Uber driver incident.”

Adams has also destroyed current legislation and said that it allows to free violent criminals, which endangers the public and police officers.

“This is insanity, who arrests the same people time and again and expect change,” said Adams. “The criminal was released yesterday before he committed a carjacking today.”

Adams said that the fault for Friday’s shooting is entitled to the release of the suspect.

“For dangerous people to put back on our streets as recently as yesterday on conditional release, it sends a terrible signal to our audience,” said Adams.

“Regardless of who shot our detective, one person is responsible for starting the series of events that brought us to the hospital today,” said Adams. “This is a man who should have been behind bars, not on our streets.”
