NY Rangers Game 54 Open topic: Rangers at Islanders

The Rangers finally won a game on Monday night, beating the Boston Bruins in overtime. Now the post-Carson Soucy era begins, with the Rangers sending him across the Triborough Bridge to the New York Islanders, who happen to be tonight’s opponent. There won’t be any heartfelt Car-son, Car-son chants, but Soucy has put in the work and effort that so many Rangers don’t now. He wasn’t good, but at least the effort was there.

Oh, the Islanders are pretty bad defensively too. Both teams usually wake up for these games, so it will be interesting to see if the Rangers can build on their momentum.
