The Rangers tank rolls on, losing both games in the LA area as they travel north to San Jose tonight to take on the upstart Sharks. San Jose is apparently involved with Artemi Panarin, although that offense took some mental gymnastics to make work. San Jose is largely carried by Macklin Celebrini and a returning Will Smith up front, so they could use Panarin to balance things out. They also need urgent defensive help. There’s something here, but whether San Jose wants to split the pieces remains to be seen.
There are no scratches in roster management tonight. At least not yet.
