West Ham United manager Nuno Espirito Santo is reportedly willing to cash in on key midfielder Lucas Paqueta for around £60 million.
The Brazil international has had a mixed spell at the London Stadium, looking like a world-beater at times and at one point attracting interest from Manchester City, according to reports Guardian and others.
However, Paqueta has also been quite inconsistent and his form has gone a bit downhill of late, although the club will have been happy to retain him amid interest from Aston Villa in the transfer window that has just ended, according to the Daily mail.
Now, however, there is fresh speculation over Paqueta’s situation, with new manager Nuno appearing ready to let the 28-year-old go for a fee of £60 million.
This is reported by a reliable West Ham store Hamer newsalthough it remains to be seen whether anyone will come for him.

Speaking to Hammers News, journalist Graeme Bailey explained that West Ham would prefer to keep Paqueta but every player has a price.
“West Ham have problems when it comes to raising funds to buy, so that does mean that the big names and the most marketable assets will inevitably be linked together,” Bailey explains.
“Paqueta has no intention of leaving and West Ham have no intention of selling. But if someone comes in with this asking price, which I’m told is around £60 million, he could go.”
It will be interesting to keep an eye on how this saga develops as we get closer to January, but at this point it might be hard to imagine anyone particularly eager to pay that much for Paqueta.
As good as the former Lyon man may be on his day, he is not getting any younger and would be a bit of a gamble after his up and down time in East London.
