Pre-orders are taken for the Nuen Moto N1-S Electric Motorcycle (e-bike) in Vietnam, with a price of 170 million Vietnamese Dong (RM27,113). Orders are protected with an online deposit of 1 million Dong (RM160) and three color options are offered – coal black, ocean blue and lava red.
Nuen Moto says that more than 60% of the components come for the N1-S locally, while production partners are present with suppliers such as Bosch for electrical and electronics and J Juan for brakes. Nuen is currently in conversation with various European distributors and Asean, and claims to discuss 300 pre-orders.




The N1-S is powered by a battery of 8.0 kWh, with a loading time of zero to 85% in three hours using 220 Volt AC-Electric power supply, while a load of 100% takes 4.5 hours on the domestic current. With DC quickly charging, this drops to 40 minutes for a load from zero to 80%.
The battery package feeds a 72-volt, air-cooled, middle-mounted electric motor, which floats through the final station of the chain, so that the N1-S has a maximum range of 245 km. The engine is rated up to a maximum of 32 hp, with 190 Nm of torque, while the top speed is determined up to 130 km/h.

Regenerative braking is used, which uses kinetic energy that is used during braking to charge the battery, increase the traction and reduce stress on mechanical components. Two-channel ABS is standard and suspension uses upside down forks and a monoshock at the back.
Wheel dimensions is 17-innches front and rear, with 120/60 front and 160/60 rear tires. Weight for the N1-S is mentioned at 179 kg, with a. Seat height set at 790 mm.
