The current Terrier schedule Functions19 NHL Draft Picks. That must be a program record, right? Wrong. We asked our friend BU Hockey Statistics to view it and he found two seasons, 1988-89 And 1990-1991With 20 picks each. 1988-89 Featured Shawn McEachern, Mike SullivanAnd Ed Ronan– All Winners of Stanley Cup – as well as Joe Sacco” David Sacco And
A personal von Stefanelli. The National Finalist Squad of 1990-91 included five of those six (Sullivan had graduated) plus Tony Amonte, Keith Tkiuk, Scott Lakhanse, Mark Krys And Kevin O’Sullivan.
For a little context, however, the NHL design had 12 rounds, while it is currently limited to seven. Several of those 20 picks, for example on the 90-91 team, were in the double digits, including Ronan, David Sacco, Doug Friedman And Mike Bavis.
Of the 19 of the current schedule, there are 3 first rounders (Sacha Boisvertt” Sascha Boumedienne And Cole Eiserman), 7 Second Rounders (Cole Hutson, Mikhail Yegorov, Carter Amico, Jack Murtagh, Ryder Ritchie, Kamil Bednarik And Conrad Fondrk) and 4 third rounds (Gavin McCarthy, Brandon Svoboda, Charlie Trethewey
And Malte Vass). A total of 14 from the first three rounds. See all recruits’ Concept teams here (Note that a few 2026 recruits are incorrectly mentioned.)

►BlackNGold Hockey has viewed the first -year student up close Jonathan Morello
When he attended his second Bruins development camp this summer. The 6’1 ”center from Toronto played for Dubuque in the USHL last season and produced 28 points.
“I was high on Morello after last year’s development camp, and I am even higher after this one.
He has grown in his frame and is an excellent skater. He is able to use his strength to win fights and hold on to pucks while he also uses speed to win races and make defenders uncomfortable. I am not sure where he will play in the line -up for a deep BU team, but he is someone who monitors a sleeper perspective in this organization. “
