The seeds and draw for the ITA Division I Team Women’s Indoor Championships are out, with North Carolina and Auburn as the top seeds at the two locations. There are four games at each location on Friday, with North Carolina topping the draw in Campaign and Auburn topping the draw in Chicago.
After the first two rounds, the two semifinalists coming off the University of Illinois grounds will take Sunday off to move to the Northwest venue, with the semifinals scheduled for Monday and the finals for Tuesday night.

Four American teenagers qualified for the main draw today: 19-year-old Dillon Beckles, a recruit from Dartmouth; 16-year-old Jerrid Gaines Jr.; 15-year-old Teodor Davidov and 18-year-old Nikolas Stoot, an LSU recruit.
All four wild cards were played today, with Ukraine’s Oleksandr Bielinskyi losing to top seed Andrew Fenty 6-4, 6-1; Liam Krall (SMU) falls 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 to Fermin Tenti of Argentina and Matthew Segura loses 6-2, 6-1 to No. 2 seed Tommaso Compagnucci of Italy. The only wildcard to win his match was Hunter Heck (Illinois), who defeated Ronit Karki 6-4, 6-4. Karki and Andy Johnson gained entry through the ITF’s Junior Reserved program.
Three former American colleagues qualified: Madison Sieg (USC), Eryn Cayetano (USC) and Haley Giavara (Cal). Julieta Pareja lost to former Iowa State and Tennessee star Sofia Cabezas of Venezuela 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 in the final round of qualifying.
Whitney Osuigwe is the top seed and will play Stanford freshman Monika Ekstrand, a wild card, in the first round on Wednesday. Wild cards were given to Akasha Urhobo, who lost today to Hanna Chang 6-3, 3-6, 6-4; Lea Ma (Georgia) and Katrina Scott, who has been announced as an addition to Tennessee’s roster but has yet to compete for the Vols.
No. 2 seed Maria Carle (Georgia) of Argentina won her first-round match today against Alicia Herrero Linana (Baylor) of Spain 1-6, 6-2, 6-2.
Jack Kennedy’s main event debut did not go well, with the 17-year-old New Yorker failing to win a match against former Wake Forest All-American Borna Gojo of Croatia. Gojo had nine aces and Kennedy committed 34 unforced errors in the 53-minute match.
Qualifier Quinn Vandecasteele (Oregon) defeated No. 5 seed Murphy Cassone (Arizona State) 7-6 (2), 6-3 and Christian Langmo (Miami) defeated No. 8 Alex Rybakov (TCU) 7-6 (6), 6-3 last night.
