Deadlines and definitions of Class Action members updated in the court case of the Nissan Sunrud.

– A Nissan Sunroof Class Action law business goes ahead after eight years before the court, but only for certain customers in four states.

The original action of the Sunroof Class included national customers, but the judge has reduced the lawsuit with five states, after which the judge brought the states to California, New York, Colorado and Florida.

The action of the Sunrud Class claims that the glass suddenly explodes, even while driving and without anything that affects the sunroof.

Nissan argues that less than half of 1% of the sun areas fall apart, but customers claim that a replacement sunroof can cost $ 1,000.

Nissan lost an appeal to the ninth circuit, which made Nissan appeal to the American Supreme Court. However, recent legal proceedings describe the class members in four states. Note the conditions.

California

California (unjust enrichment claims)

Every person who sold a new or used subject vehicle in California (who was sold in California for the first time) on or after 1 February 2014.

California (California Consumer Legal Remedies Act)

Every person who sold a new or used Vehicle in California (which was sold in California) on or after 1 February 2014 for use mainly for personal, family or household goal.

Colorado

Every person who bought a new or used topic vehicle in Colorado (which was sold in Colorado for the first time) on or after 1 February 2014.

Florida

Every person who sold a new or used subject of vehicle in Florida (who was first sold in Florida) on or after 1 February 2013.

New York

New York (unjustified enrichment claims)

Every person who bought a new or used subject of vehicle in New York (which was sold in New York for the first time) on or after 1 February 2011.

New York (Claims for Business Law))

Every person who bought a new or used subject vehicle in New York (which was sold in New York for the first time) on or after 1 February 2014 for personal use.

New York (warranty claims)

Every person who sold a new or used Vehicle Substitute in New York (which was sold in New York for the first time) was sold on or after 1 February 2013).

In addition to the above changes, the judge approved a motion to replace certain claimants with California and New York. Original Californian claimant Sherida Johnson has been replaced by Anna Wall, and New York plaintiff Subrina has been replaced by Sandria Smith.
