Pumpkin herb struck ingredients

  • Coffee – The basic and taste: The heart of every frappé! Whether you use cold brew, brewed coffee or espresso, coffee offers the daring, caffeinated base of the drink. The use of cooled coffee helps the Ninja Slushi to freeze it faster and more evenly. If you like a stronger coffee flavor, choose a cold brew with a double force.
  • Heavy cream, milk or creator – the creamy factor: Adds wealth and a smooth texture to prevent the frappé from being too icy. Heavy cream makes it thick and indulgent, similar to coffee shopfrappés. Full milk or half and half offers a balance of creaminess without being too heavy. Pro-tip: use a mix of heavy cream + full milk for an ultra-thick frappé!
  • Vanilla -extract – Improving taste: A small vanilla is going a long way! It is the bitterness of the coffee rounded and adds a subtle sweetness without overwhelming the drink.
  • Simple syrup or sugar – the key to perfect freezing: The machine requires at least 4% sugar to freeze well. If your coffee is unsweetened, adding sugar or simple syrup ensures that the correct slushy consistency. Simple syrup fits seamlessly without graneness. Syropes with flavored (vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, mocha, etc.) Add sweetness and taste in one step. Do you want a sugar -free or natural sugar version? Use honey, agave, or this Sugar -free simple syrup.
  • Caramel or chocolate syrup – Optional for drizzle.

How to make a Ninja Slushi Pumpkin Spice Frappé

Detailed measurements and complete instructions can be found in the recipe card at the bottom of this message.

  1. Prepare the coffee base: Brew Strong Coffee or Espresso and let it cool completely in the fridge. I skip all this and use cold brew. It is already cooled and ready to go!
  2. Mix the ingredients: Combine the cooled coffee, milk/cream, pumpkin, pumpkin pie spices, vanilla extract and simple syrup (or sugar) in a large tape cup or pitcher. Stir well to completely dissolve the sugar (if you use it).
  3. Fill the machine: Lift the bail lever and remove the mixing vessel. Pour the coffee mixture into the ship and make sure it stays between the min (16 oz) and Max (64OZ) fill lines. Attach the ship back to the machine.
  4. Select the “Frappé” setting: Power on the Ninja Slushi ™ and choose the “Frappé” mode. Let the machine run for 15-45 minutes, depending on the sugar content and the temperature of the liquid. Mine lasted 25-30 minutes.
  5. Serve and enjoy: Once the cycle is completed, place a cup under the self -class sprayer and pull the handle to release your frappé.

How do I make the frappé thicker?

Follow these tips and you can’t go wrong:

  • Use full milk or heavy cream: Higher fat content = richer texture. Instead of using skim or almond milk, switch to full milk, half and half or heavy cream for a thicker, more luxurious frappé. Dairy-free options such as oat milk or canned coconut milk (full-fat) also work well.
  • Increase the sugar content: The Ninja Slushi requires at least 4% sugar for the correct freezing. If your frappé is not thick enough, add 2-3 tablespoon of simple syrup, honey or a flavored coffee syrup per liquid cup. View this sugar -free syrup, it’s what I like to use.
  • Reduce the liquid ratio: A higher ratio of milk to coffee can also make it creamier.

How to save

You can save leftovers in the machine, but you must run the machine to keep the frozen texture for up to 12 hours. If you switch it off, the frappé will melt.

Keep them in an airtight container in the freezer to save leftovers outside the machine. It will stay good for a month. Save the coffee for storage in the short term in an insulated container. Shake or stir well and add a few ice cubes if it has melted too much. Drink within 12 hours for the best taste.
