Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy wants the club to win the Premier League and although the new boss Thomas Frank acknowledges that this is the endgame, he does not set deadlines
Thomas Frank has no problem with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy who calls on the club to win the Premier League, but is not ready to determine a deadline when he will realize the unlikely dream.
Spurs claimed the success of the League in the League in May to put an end to a waiting period of 17 years on silverware, but Levy rejected relentless Ange Postecoglou after a difficult domestic campaign where the club completed one place above the relegation zone. Despite the Premier League wrestle, Van Tottenham after a injuries-worse season, Levy made the daring claim last month that they “need” the title.
Frank said: “I share his ambitions for the club. A club of this size should have that ambition. How far we are is probably very hard to say, but we have to throw it forward and go for it.
“That should undoubtedly be the goal for the future. What are the chance of us winning the Premier League this season?
“I can’t gamble either, so I think we are probably not the favorites. At least three teams are probably for us, but we will do what we can do to build a strong and competitive team.”

During a busy first press conference such as Spurs -Baas, Frank regularly declared his wish to improve the robustness of the team to ensure that she can handle four games.
There were also numerous questions about the future of the most important duo son Heung-Min and Cristian Romero. Son achieved his own goal to win silverware in Tottenham in May and there was a suggestion if he wanted to leave that the club would not stand in the way.
But Frank, who refused to confirm whether son Captain would remain, stated: ‘They are always such difficult situations. If a player has been in a club for a long time, then there will always be a decision for the club to make.
“And of course, the head coach and the boys who are in charge and this case will be with Daniel and Johan (long), because there is something in it if someone wants to leave at a certain stage, then there can be something, but the club will always decide.”
The first summer of Postecoglou at Spurs was overshadowed by the long -term chase of Bayern Munich to Harry Kane, which finally ended the day before the start of the season.
Frank would not want a repeat, but added: “First and foremost he is here (son) here. I don’t worry too much about it.”
