Nicki Minaj is reportedly at risk of losing her US$20 million ($30.8 million) home due to debts accrued by an unpaid victim of an alleged assault involving her husband in 2019.
In documents obtained by Page sixThomas Weidenmüller has now asked the court for help in collecting the money by putting Minaj’s 11-bedroom Hidden Hills, California, home up for sale.
Weidenmüller alleged that Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, have refused to pay him more than US$500,000 ($772,000).

“The property is subject to a mortgage lien of $13,258,000 ($A20.4 million) and an exemption of $722,151 ($A1.1 million) – together just under $14 million ($A21.6 million),” the court documents say.
“The current fair market value of the property is estimated at US$20 million ($A30.8 million), providing approximately US$US6 million ($A9.2 million) in equity in excess of the lien and relief. That amount is more than sufficient to satisfy the judgment, plus accrued interest and foreclosure costs.”
Minaj’s massive Hidden Hills abode currently serves as her primary residence.
The expansive home features eight bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, a resort-style pool, a cabana, a terrace with sweeping hillside views and a separate guesthouse.
The house is located in a wealthy neighborhood, where several stars live.
Minaj previously rented a $28,000 ($A43,000) monthly home in Calabasas in 2020. She also previously rented an apartment in Beverly Hills for US$35,000 ($A54,000) a month.
Minaj also once owned a $10 million ($A15 million) six-bedroom home. It was her primary residence before she picked up her home in Hidden Hills.

Mr. Weidenmüller’s legal team claims in the documents that the sale of the pop star’s home would “satisfy the entire judgment, with millions to spare.”
“Minaj is a global music superstar, with an estimated net worth of between $150 and $190 million, and is reportedly the highest-paid female rap star in the world,” the documents say.
“There is little doubt that she is very capable of paying the judgment in full, and yet she has refused to do so, despite multiple written requests for payment and levies served on several of her alleged creditors. [Weidenmüller] no longer have to wait.”

“I have proof that this was given to a company [manager] who never told me,” she wrote. “My lawyers AND business [managers] (old & new) are CONSCIOUS. Let’s see if they’ll say anything or if I should call them by name. That same company [manager] STOLE from me MANY times.”

The incident is said to have occurred after Starships host, born Onika Maraj, scolded a female security guard for allowing a male fan on stage during her show.
Minaj, 42, allegedly shouted at the security guard and called her a ‘f**king bitch’ as she recorded the disparaging conversation.
Weidenmüller, who was head of security that evening, said he came forward to comfort the crying security guard before approaching the Barbershop: The Next Cut actress to discuss the alleged incident.
