Niam Real Estate has announced the completion of the acquisition of a newly developed logistics facility in Jönköping, Sweden, from Tosito.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Completed in 2024, the property comprises 19,525 m² of Grade A logistics space. The property is strategically located in Torsvik, Jönköping and offers direct access to the E4 motorway – a major artery within Sweden’s established logistics triangle connecting Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.
The location offers strong connections to major population centers and distribution corridors, strengthening its appeal to third-party logistics providers and national distributors.
The property is fully leased to FREJA, a leading Scandinavian logistics service provider, under a long-term agreement. The building benefits from modern and flexible specifications tailored to today’s logistics requirements and holds the Miljöbyggnad Silver certification, underlining its environmental performance.
In a related transaction, Niam recently acquired a 24,000 m² portfolio consisting of two modern logistics properties in Jordbro and Jönköping. The properties are leased to Rexel and nVent (Eldon/nVent), purchased from a Scandinavian fund backed by international investors.
The acquisitions are in line with Niam’s strategy to invest in well-located logistics assets in the Nordic countries, focusing on markets with favorable supply-demand dynamics and[{” attribute=”” tabindex=”0″ role=”link”>asset management upside.
