The Flames, I think there will be some, I think there will be more movement, movement coming. Previously, prior to his injury, there was a lot of smoke surrounding Blake Coleman. A lot of. To the point where I would be surprised if he doesn’t act before the deadline.
We know Kadri is open to a move. He made that clear to the Flames. Now, they don’t necessarily have to do anything now, but just the fact that he passed on that message, or that his camps passed on that message, speaks volumes.
We’ve talked about this before. It’s a close-knit group. The experienced guys are a tight group, and as soon as you start to see the guys leave, (Rasmus) Andersson is out and Coleman is probably next. Kadri could be gone too. You know, if you’re Mackenzie Weegar, you’re sitting there going…’
Marek: “Why am I here? Where did everyone go?”
Pagnotta: “Exactly. I still have five years of what? And that’s why the other teams are going to poke around for him.”
Ryan Lomberg is another guy pending UFA that many teams will be looking at.
Really, the only name I haven’t heard much of at this point is (Yegor) Sharangovich. And a bit of an offseason for him. But only when it comes to teams sniffing around. Haven’t heard much about him yet. I don’t expect anything.
But the other guys are me. And with (Jonathan) Huberdeau ready for the season. And the expectation and likelihood that at least one more big name will leave Calgary before the March 6 deadline, you know that’s going to happen, there’s going to be a number of other changes that will come over the summer. I have to believe in it, and some teams believe that too.

Where, whatever happens on deadline, unless Craig Conway completely clears house now, whatever doesn’t happen on deadline, I would have to say, will probably happen around draft time and July 1st.
