Steven Stamkos isn’t going anywhere
The Fourth Period: Nashville Predators forward Steven Stamkos has two years left on his contract with a cap hit of $8 million. He has a full freedom of movement clause, but some teams were interested, including the New Jersey Devils.
Stamkos told the Nashville Tennessee that they had not spoken to GM Barry Trotz, but said there is “zero” chance he would waive his no-movement order.
