Friedman: “And you know, there’s Vancouver. And I didn’t listen to my own advice. I poured gasoline on the fire, which is not the intention. And you know, I just think they’re still looking and setting high standards.”
You know, the (Owen) Tippett news came out that they were asking about Tippett. I don’t think that’s the only team they’ve asked for a similar player. Or a good young player in return for what they’ve moved, what they could move and, you know, we’ll see where it goes.
It’s not happening as quickly as I might have thought, but that doesn’t mean they won’t continue their process.

And you know, the big challenge is, I think when you look at a guy like (Kiefer) Sherwood. Like he’s actually wearing it. As you can see it. He hasn’t scored in seven games. This isn’t easy for a lot of guys, you know?
I think it’s interesting. I think even without clearance, teams are trying to figure out: If I trade for Sherwood and I want to keep them, what does that look like?
And you know, so that also affects your decision-making. So that’s what they’re going through.
