The Los Angeles Kings need scoring help
Daily confrontation: The Los Angeles Kings will try to score some points after losing Kevin Fiala, which won’t be easy considering they’ve already moved a key trade asset in Liam Greentree. The Kings may have to settle for a lower score, but they will add that at the trade deadline.

Jeff Marek: “I don’t think the Los Angeles Kings want Anze Kopitar’s career to end in the regular season. They want his career to end in the playoffs, whenever that is, whenever that is. And I don’t think we can lose sight of that.”
I think the Washington Capitals probably feel the same way about Alexander Ovechkin, if this is indeed his final season in the NHL.
NHL Rumors: Boston Bruins and the Vancouver Canucks
I do too, they impressed with Artemi Panarin. And as we all know, the hardest thing for the Los Angeles Kings to do is score goals. Man, you’re losing here (Kevin) Fiala; that’s a big dent in your armor. So I can’t see Ken Holland sitting on his hands. I think it’s Ken Holland’s job, he probably knows this too, he has to go out, and he has to use that LTIR space to definitely get a score. Gregs.
Jason Gregor: “Yes, I think so. I’m just not sure if there is a glut of goalscorers to be had. And since he has already given up (Liam) Greentree, who will he have? Will his package be able to match someone else who is looking, for example.”
Just being there, I think he will get someone, but it might not be as top scorer as he would like, simply because he might lose to that.”
