You have to go to Auston and tell Austin, it’s been a year and a half, two years now, if you take into account what happened last year and the injury, or the trip to Germany, or whatever. It’s been a tough two years. Like if he’s in a position he’s in, he can go to the Leafs and say:

Kypreos: “That’s the move. Okay, they let Kopitar leave, and they need someone, and they held out for, you know, the hold on McDavid. And I think if McDavid were LA King’s pick in a few years, or, you know, as early as next year, to trade for him, that might include Auston right there.”
McKee: “Wow. So, and that’s a, I mean, the next question I would ask, and a lot of Leafs fans would ask, would be, does he have the same trade value as Quinn Hughes?”
Kypreos: “I think if you can’t get four pieces for Auston, you should definitely get three quality pieces.”
McKee: “Okay.”
Kypreos: “Yes, and I don’t know what that means in terms of: you need a central defender. I don’t know if they give up (Quinton) Byfield, but it would be one of them, their top takes the middle.”
McKee: “So it would, it would be…”
Kypreos: “I would like to get a defender back.”
