In the current NHL rumor rundown, Rasmus Andersson spoke with the media and shared that he did not limit the Calgary Flames to certain teams when he is treated. Elsewhere, the Pittsburgh Penguins Rickard Rakard Rakell and Bryan are still shopping, and at least one could be moved at the start of the season. Finally, the Anaheim -duck still try to find a solution with Mason McTavish and they reportedly do not want to move it.
Andersson denies trade rumors to Vegas
During the low season, one of the biggest transactions that many expect is not yet happening, and that is Rasmus Andersson. All signs point to Andersson who do not extend with the Flames, and general director Craig Conroy has been open because he is willing to go into the season and to deal with it later.

Andersson states: “I have long been very appreciated in Calgary. Then an insider with wrong information and then the fans are coming, because they are right about many other things they do and I understand that their task is. But I have not given Calgary a team that I only want to sympathize with a team. That is not true.” “
He goes further to say that he knows that there was an offer from the Los Angeles Kings, and is not too worried about his contract, which ends in the low season of 2026.
So whether Andersson has a personal list or only has a few teams for which he would be willing to refrain from his no-trade clause, he has not given any restrictions so far.
Rust & Rakell are both still shopped
It is no secret that the penguins have looking for moving the couple of valuable veterans this season outside season, but it is clear that the right trade has not yet encountered the Kyle Dubas agency. Both rest and Rakell are being sought, and beyond The Athletic Hockey ShowJosh Yohe was the guest who spoke about how to repair the penguins, and during the show he brought up the duo.
The package that the Penguins want to be young, talented players. They have already brought in a number of them, but are looking for more. Yohe stated that he was not sure that peace and rakell will both be on the roster when the season starts and that there is a real chance that one will be moved. There are still five weeks to go until training camps start up, and that is a lot of time to have things sorted out.
Ducks do not want to move McTavish
As the start of the season comes closer, the few remaining non -resistant limited free agents will be looking for something, and with Mctavish and the ducks, while some reports state that they have a hard time getting closer to a number, Daily Faceoff’s Anthony di Marco Share that the ducks are not looking to move McTavish, but continue to work on an extension.
Di Marco writes: “I really can’t see a world in which Ducks GM Pat Verbeek leaves Mason Mctavish. Verbeek, who learned under Steve Yzerman, is a notorious tough negotiator, so this can just be a usual practice for him.”
There have been many reports that General Manager Pat Verbeek is a heavy negotiator, and this is not a big surprise. Things like this already happened with Trevor Zegras, but with the schedule that fills in with more veterans, there can be some concern for Mctavish about his role and position in the team.
