Data collected by cryptoslaman on-chain crypto market data aggregator and non-fungible token explorer that tracks non-fungible token collections from over 20 blockchain networks, shows that the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection has achieved positive growth in trade sales volume. In the last 24 hours, the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection has generated a trade sales volume of $819,756.
During this period, trading volume of the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT increased by 213% from the day before. Launched in 2021, Bored Ape Yacht Club is a globally recognized non-fungible token collection from Yuga Labs with a fixed edition of 10,000 profile photos hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network. The Bored Ape is a sister to the Mutant Ape Yacht Club, the Bored Ape Kennel Club and the Twelvefold NFT collection.
Yuga Labs is also the team building the Otherside metaverse, a platform that combines elements of online games and virtual worlds, with Otherdeeds holders playing a central role in the ecosystem. The ApeFest is heating up
ApeFest 2025 kicked off yesterday at Area15 in Las Vegas, Nevada, alongside ComplexCon, the cultural festival that brings together the worlds of streetwear, music, art and food. The planned event brings together Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT members and guests for a three-day mix of exclusive music, arts and community events. This year’s lineup includes Outkast’s Big Boi, Clipse (Pusha T and Malice), Kodak Black, Justin Blau and Logic’s DJ Rhêtorík.
In addition to the main stage, the weekend will include a poker tournament, private parties and a Yuga x OpenSea collaboration event, with CEO Garga expected to discuss the future of BAYC. In his older blog post, Garga confirmed that BMW, a world-renowned manufacturer of luxury cars and motorcycles, will attend the ApeFest 2025. BMW made its first appearance at ApeFest Hong Kong in 2023, where the car company released a BMW i5 M60 for a digital light show experience that allowed Apes to project their primates onto the car.
Then, in 2024, BMW stepped up their game by launching the Bored Ape Bimmer Club, releasing a range of BMW x BAYC merchandise, inviting community members for the ride of their lives in a BAYC-themed mixed reality race that was anything but boring, and even teaming up with BAYC member Rida to create a 1/1 “ApeMobile” creation worth nearly $100,000, which is now owned by BAYC member Weidner Dennis. Yuga Labs and BMW are expected to outline their plans for this year’s event.
