Each week we analyze some of the best player stats on PrizePicks using the new PFF Player Props Tool. Betting insights, matchup data and historical hitting percentages are just some of the things the tool offers.
Here are two props that stand out ahead of Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season.
RB Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons: Over 125.5 rush + rec. meters
The Dolphins have battled this run all season, ranking last in the NFL in yards allowed per game on the ground (159.3). This week they travel to Atlanta to take on arguably the league’s best running back, Bijan Robinson.
Robinson’s 524 rushing yards through Week 7 are the sixth-highest in the NFL — and the Falcons have already completed their bye week. He is averaging 4.24 yards after contact per attempt, while the Dolphins’ defense ranks 31st in yards after contact allowed per rush. Additionally, Robinson’s 36 forced missed tackles on the ground are the most in the NFL, and Miami ranks 31st in PFF tackle class (36.2).
Robinson is also a difference-maker in the passing game, as only Christian McCaffrey averages more receptions and receiving yards per play among running backs. Over the past three weeks, Robinson has averaged 75.3 yards per game through the air alone, with 16 receptions in that span. The Dolphins defense ranks 30th in receiving yards allowed per passing play to opposing running backs.
Whether on the ground or in the air, Robinson is having a great game against one of the league’s weakest units. Given his production and efficiency in both facets, it makes more sense to focus on his total yards this week.
RB De’Von Achane, Miami Dolphins: Over 28.5 receiving yards
Achane’s 44 goals and 32 receptions through Week 7 trail only Christian McCaffrey for the league lead among running backs. He has been a focal point in the Dolphins’ passing game all season, leading the team in both goals and receiving.
Achane is particularly effective in the air when pressure builds up. He ranks second in target speed on passes versus blitz this season. This week, Miami will face the Falcons, who blitz at the second-fastest rate in the NFL on pass plays, which bodes well for Achane’s prospects as a pass-catching threat out of the backfield.
The Dolphins are currently 7.5-point underdogs, meaning they will likely have to lean on their passing game to stay competitive. Unlike last week in Cleveland, the weather won’t be a factor – it’s a dome match – helping one of the league’s fastest and most explosive players get back on track through the air.
