- Myles Garrett’s record-sealing bag: The Browns lead defender etched his name in the history books by breaking the single-season sack record in their Week 18 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The record-breaking play earned a PFF grade of +1.5, with Garrett beating left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. defeated quickly and decisively around the edge.
- Carl Granderson’s ridiculous screen interception: Normally when you see an interception on a screen it’s due to a tipped or dropped pass, but that wasn’t the case with Saints edge defender Carl Granderson’s upset in Week 18. Here he read the play beautifully and went for the pass to tight end Kyle Pitts, turning the ball over and earning a PFF grade of +1.5.

On the same play as Granderson’s interception, there was a play that should ultimately make both Saints and Falcons fans hopeful for the future. For the Saints, rookie quarterback Tyler Shough produced a big throw with a great pass into the end zone, earning a PFF grade of +1.0 for the game. However, if you watch the game again and focus on the battle between Jalon Walker and left tackle, you’ll see the Falcons’ top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft winning quickly and putting pressure on Shough. That effort earned the rookie a PFF grade of +1.5.

An injury-plagued season for the former two-time NFL MVP came to an end with the Baltimore Ravens’ Week 18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football, but not before Lamar Jackson finally showed the quality play we’ve come to expect from him. In what ended up being the highest-rated play by a quarterback this week, Jackson dodged what appeared to be a certain sack before finding Zay Flowers downfield for a touchdown, earning a PFF grade of +1.5 for the play.
