Tampa Bay Buccaneers 16, Carolina Panthers 14

Baker Mayfield threw a touchdown to Cade Otton and Chase McLaughlin made three field goals as the Buccaneers stayed alive with a sloppy 16-14 victory over the Panthers in rainy Tampa. Tampa Bay now needs New Orleans to beat or tie Atlanta to reach the NFC South, while Carolina can still win the division if the Falcons prevail.

Seattle Seahawks 13, San Francisco 49ers 3

Seattle captured the NFC No. 1 seed and the NFC West title by stifling San Francisco’s high-powered offense in a 13-3 win, leaning on a dominant defense and balanced play. The loss sends the 49ers on the road for the wild-card round after their lowest-scoring and lowest-scoring performance under Kyle Shanahan.

Atlanta Falcons 19, New Orleans Saints 17

The Falcons won their fourth straight game to close out the 2025 season, outlasting the Saints 19-17 – and handing the Panthers the NFC South in the process. Drake London shined with 78 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Atlanta forced two New Orleans turnovers — including a fourth-quarter interception by Dee Alford.

Cleveland Browns 20, Cincinnati Bengals 18

Ja’Marr Chase got a go-ahead goal late, but Browns rookie kicker Andre Szmyt made up for an earlier miss by drilling a 49-yard field goal at the buzzer, giving Cleveland a 20-18 win over Cincinnati. Myles Garrett set the NFL single-season sack record with his 23rd sack as the Browns capitalized on defensive scores to beat Joe Burrow and spoil the Bengals’ Finals.

Houston Texans 38, Indianapolis Colts 30

The Texans won in their ninth straight game in Week 18, defeating the Colts 38-30. Ka’imi Fairbairn made all six of his field goals, and Houston’s elite defense allowed three points in Riley Leonard’s first NFL start.

Jacksonville Jaguars 41, Tennessee Titans 7

Trevor Lawrence threw three touchdown passes to set the Jaguars’ single-season scoring record as Jacksonville captured the AFC South and a home playoff game with a 41-7 loss to Tennessee. The win ended a dominant divisional run for the Jaguars, while the Titans were overwhelmed and lost rookie quarterback Cam Ward early to a shoulder injury.

Minnesota Vikings 16, Green Bay Packers 3

Brian Flores and the Vikings took control of the shorthanded Packers in Week 18, posting a 16-3 victory to close out the 2025 season. Minnesota limited Clayton Tune to just 34 passing yards in his second career start, while Justin Jefferson recorded 101 receiving yards – and more than 1,000 in 2025.

New York Giants 34, Dallas Cowboys 17

Jaxson Dart threw two touchdown passes as the Giants capped a losing season with a 34-17 victory over the Cowboys, ending a two-game losing streak while slipping out of contention for a top-two draft pick. Dallas rested its starters, including Dak Prescott, after halftime, ending a nine-game losing streak to New York and a heated second-half scuffle led to a lockout.

With Mitchell Trubisky at the helm, the Bills dealt the Jets one last emphatic blow this season. Buffalo now enters the postseason as the AFC’s No. 6 seed.

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff threw for more than 300 yards and one touchdown in a 19-16 win over the division rival Chicago Bears, who still finished the season as NFC North champions.

The Broncos moved to 14-3 and secured the AFC’s No. 1 seed, defying all preseason expectations.

Las Vegas Raiders 14, Kansas City Chiefs 12

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty ran for 87 yards in a 14-12 win over division rival Kansas City chiefs. Despite the win, the Raiders retain the first overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

New England Patriots 38, Miami Dolphins 10

Rhamondre Stevenson scored three touchdowns to help the New England Patriots to a 38-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins, securing the AFC East champions second place in the AFC playoffs.

Washington Commanders 24, Philadelphia Eagles 17

While most starters rested, the Eagles fell 24-17 Washington While Josh Johnson engineered a fourth-quarter comeback, it cost Philadelphia second place in the NFC and dropped them to third. Nick Sirianni accepted the short-term loss in exchange for rest, but the Super Bowl champions now open the playoffs at home without the bye they were chasing.
