The details of Newcastle against Bradford have now been revealed.
An official club announcement (see below) that makes public that the Carabao Cup third round match will be played on Wednesday 24 September.
Newcastle V Bradford starts today at 7.45 pm today at 7.45 pm in St James’ Park.

‘A date has been set for the Carabao Cup of Newcastle United Third Round Tie at home to Bradford City.
The Magpies, who won the competition last season after a 2-1 victory against Liverpool in the final in Wembley, were given a home home against the competition, which claimed a 3-0-way victory against Stoke City in round two.
It has been confirmed that the game will take place on Wednesday 24 September in St. James’ Park, kicking off at 7:45 pm (BST). The game is shown live on Sky Sports+.
United will also wear the very first Carabao Cup Gold Badge with the number one to mark their victory in the Carabao Cup 2024/25, which was the first in the competition and the first domestic trophy of the club was in 70 years.
