The nominations for Premier League Player of the Week have been announced.
The eight nominees include one Newcastle United star who played a prominent role in the victory over Manchester City.
The official Premier League site suggests (below) Harvey Barnes as one of the nominees.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle United 2-1 Manchester City)
Barnes played a starring role in Newcastle United’s impressive victory over Manchester City, scoring twice in the second half as Eddie Howe’s side recorded a sixth successive home win in all competitions.
The midfielder missed a few big chances in the first half but was much more clinical in the second. He scored from the edge of the penalty area and then scored the decisive goal from close range.
He left the field to a standing ovation as the Newcastle fans chanted: “Barnes will tear you apart again.”
