Newcastle United Approach for Davide Frattesi rejected – Report

It has now been reported in Italy that Newcastle United has seen an approach for Davide Frattesi.

Gazzetta Dello Sport says that Inter Milan United has hit back.

Midfielder Davide Frattesi is an international teammate of Sandro Tonali’s and has had an eventful time with Inter Milan.

Inter signed the Italian international from Sassuolo for a reported £ 25 million and in his two seasons at the San Siro he made many appearances, but not many starts.

Davide Fratteni makes 60 Series A appearances, but only 15 of them as a starter.

In the 2023/24 season it was only six Serie A -Starts and 26 sub -performances when he contributed six league goals and three assists when Inter Milan De Series A.

Last season it was nine Serie A -Starts and 19 sub -performances, David Frattesi scored five league goals and received one assist.

However, the midfielder played quite hard in the Champions League campaign of Inter Milan, and scored two goals while he made 13 performances, four of them as a starter.

Davide Frattesi made the headlines when he scored the extra time winner against Barcelona in the semi -final of the Champions League.

As with all transfer stories, you never know how much or no substance for this report. Davide Frattesi, however, would be a very credible transfer target and perhaps one that could be landed against a fairly reasonable transfer costs, if the 25 -year -old wanted the move and interpreted to let him go.
