Crunch-time finally arrived, albeit about thirty minutes later than originally planned to grab fans in the massive Arthur Ashe Stadium after being forced by extra security measures that were introduced to see the American president, Donald Trump, who arrived to see the match of the fourteen days, the current Bests.
For me, to achieve that again, it is a dream. Do it on the same day as getting another Grand Slam feels even better Carlos Alcaraz
And although the US Open Final De Blockbuster -Tag has not maintained, it confirmed that these two players are exceptional because they fought their third consecutive Grand Slam final of the season, a performance that has never been achieved in the open era.
Only one player was able to hinder the symmetry of the four major finals, and that was Alexander Zverev who was unable to stumble Sinner in the Australian title match, while Alcaraz lost to Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals.
Their first big last meeting came to Roland Garros, where they played a memorable 5-and-half hour five Setter in which Sinner did not convert three match points when Alcaraz retained the French open title.
The Spaniard was then unable to hang his Wimbledon title that he lost to his Italian rival over four sets, a loss that he brought to his serve that he wanted to improve before their next meeting.
And it certainly paid dividends on Sunday when Sinner struggled to tame the cruelty of Alcaraz’s served and with the confidence generated by the success of his most important destructive weapon, he was also able to generate explosive yields to reclaim the American open title, after two hours and 42-minute,

Alcaraz rocked Sinner by taking his first service game while he opened the procedure and then kept pressure on top seeds, playing with variety, to break him on his way to making the first set in pocket.
However, Sinner responded well in the second set, because Alcaraz temporarily lost its focus, allowing Sinner to settle in his own rhythm and to level the match with a series of wild ground regions and improved return of Serve to determine the scene for a possible five Setter. It was the first set that Alcaraz fell during the two weeks.
With the pendulum ready to swing in both ways, Alcaraz stepped up an acceleration to grab an early break in the third and with his serve back to full force so he could regularly go to the net, he had the full crowd on his feet with the Scala shot, speed over the court and resilient defense he offered.
Alcaraz broke Sinner again to complete the third and continued in almost the same way in the fourth as the sinner slowly capitulated and after losing his serve for the fifth time, Alcaraz stepped up to complete the final with an appropriate AAS – his 10th of the game.
No blockbuster competition, but a blockbuster performance of the New World No. 1 while he illuminates the sinner of that position that he has held for 65 weeks. It was a moment of joy for the 22-year-old who generally grinned himself after his victory and now delivered his trademark Golf Swing Victory Salute.

“Every performance I have is because of you,” Alcaraz told his team that celebrated in the box during the trophy presentations.
“This tournament is super special for me,” he added. “It is a privilege to be part of this tournament. I just feel at home, feel the energy and feel love, and I just try to play my best for you. You have made everything easy.”
And recovering the top spot was a bonus. “For me, to achieve that again, it’s a dream,” said Alcaraz. “Doing on the same day as getting another Grand Slam feels even better. It’s all that I work for, and I am really happy that I can live these experiences.”
Sunday’s victory makes him the second youngest male player in history who claimed six large titles (this was his second at Flushing Meadows). He also becomes the fourth player in history who has won several large titles on all three surfaces (two on hard, two on clay and two on grass), who become members of Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Mats Wilander on the list.

For Sinner it is back to the drawing table. “I know it is a lot of hard work behind this performance today,” Sinner told Alcaraz on the field during the award ceremony. “You were better than me. Congratulations. Enjoy it. It’s a great moment.”
And then added in the right work: “I did my best today-I couldn’t do anymore”, “,
In Grand Slam terms, the next opening of the following season is the Australian Open, where Sinner goes for a third consecutive title and the only major that Alcaraz has not won so far. The possibility that they will again lock Hoorns in Melbourne is something to look forward to now.
