The new year has arrived and for us that of course means a lot of travel plans. Where are we traveling this year, 2026? The plans are still relatively vague, while we actually have plans for a large part of the year!
Our travel plans for 2026
Yes, we actually already have a lot of this year’s trips planned. At the same time, many of the plans are a bit “fuzzy”. Most travel plans will probably be cancelled, but it may also happen that some will be cancelled… And at the same time, a few more will certainly be added!
January-February: Poland, Spain, Egypt…
We think we will go to Poland in January on a press trip. This isn’t quite nailed down yet, but we hope it will work out. It would be interesting to see what you can do in winter at this summer(?) destination!
We also received a possible request for a trip to Egypt around February. Maybe it will come off? And we want to visit our friends Lennart and Beata in Spain. Maybe we can also achieve that in February?
Mars-April: Exotic destinations and camper trips in Sweden
We have one in March really exciting destination booked for a press trip. This is a country we have never been to, in an exotic part of the world. The trip hasn’t been confirmed yet, so we’re waiting to say hello, but it would be incredibly interesting to experience this country and talk about it…!
When we get back home, maybe there’s a little camper adventure in Sweden? We have a number of different (very exciting!) collaborations in the works, we’ll see what happens…!
Maj: Caravan trip in Namibia
We want to go to Namibia in the spring. Our South African friends, Henri and Michelle – who we met in the Philippines, visited South Africa and then toured Sweden in our camper – have now invited us to travel with them to Namibia.
We can’t say no to such a fantastic adventure! The plan is for us to fly to Cape Town, hang out with Henri and Michelle, and then take their caravan on an adventure…! Wow, this is going to be exciting!
June-August: Camper trip in Norway
This summer we plan to travel with our camper as usual, and the planned destination is… Norway! We have never traveled in Norway with a camper and this is high on our ‘bucket list’. As you know, our neighboring country is both beautiful and dramatic.
The plan is to take us via Sweden to the northernmost part of the Norwegian mainland. Afterwards we plan to follow the Norwegian coast south at a slow pace. There will be RV life and lots of reports!
September: Elmia Fair and Greek Islands
In September it is time for the Elmia fair in Jönköping and we don’t want to miss it. We will most likely give a lecture at the fair about “Norway with a camper”.
It is also very possible that there will be a trip to Greece, to discover some new Greek island.
October-December: Uzbekistan and other destinations…
Maybe there will be another trip to Uzbekistan in late autumn? Then it is on our wish list to visit the historic city of Chiva, which we have not yet been to. Presumably there will also be some other trips to follow. There’s still some time left until this part of the year, so we don’t know yet…
