New Wnba CBA By October 31, Deadline seems to be ‘unlikely’

A new collective negotiating agreement between the WNBA and the Women’s National Basketball Players Association is “unlikely” to happen to the Deadline of 31 October, sources told Frontofficus sports.

The sources add that the two parties should probably extend the deadline.

“The players work diligently to reach a transformational SME that builds on growth, the momentum and the positive news about the sport of women and the WNBPA executive director Terri Carmichael Jackson told Fos. “As we approach the 60-day brand, the lack of urgency of the competition players are wondering if it is aimed at making this work or just being up.”

The players want to increase their income share, receive improved benefits, expand schedules and implement competition-wide workplace standards.

The Wnba responded to FOS with their own explanation.
