Mr. Le Febvre follows in the footsteps of Stephen Moir, who spent 15 years at the helm of the MTA, a 60-employee organization representing 1,600 members, including some of the state’s wealthiest people, and a major training organization.
Mr Le Febvre has more than 30 years of leadership experience, most recently as CEO of Outdoors WA, an advocacy group for adventure tourism operators, clubs, event organisers, retailers and trade associations.
Until last month he was also chairman of the Outdoor Council of Australia, the national peak body for the outdoor industry.
His previous roles include Chief Operating Officer of FinTech Services Australia, Craig Mostyn Group COO, and HBF general manager of marketing, product and communications.
The MTA described Mr. Le Febvre as a leader with more than 30 years of experience who has overseen $1.6 billion in revenues, secured more than $500 million in capital and led transformations within fintech, agriculture and membership organizations.
MTA WA president Robyn Cook said the association is entering an important chapter as the automotive industry faces rapid change and evolving workforce needs.
“We are evolving in response to significant technological advances and workforce pressures – a moment that calls for strong, strategic leadership,” said Cook.
