New Jersey Institute of Technology, an NCAA Division I member of the America East Conference and affiliate member of the Big South Conference for tennis, is seeking a Graduate Assistant Coach for the men’s and women’s tennis programs. The position offers tuition and a stipend for the academic year.

Under the direction of both the men’s and women’s tennis head coaches, the graduate assistant coach will assist in all aspects of the men’s and women’s tennis program. Assist in organizing and managing training and match coaching. Additional duties include supporting the recruitment and retention of qualified student-athletes, complying with NCAA and university regulations, and participating in community service programs.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Collegiate competitive or coaching experience required. Strong management, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required. Knowledge of NCAA rules and a valid driver’s license are required. The successful candidate must be a person of integrity with high ethical standards and demonstrate strict loyalty to university, department and NCAA rules and regulations, as well as a solid commitment to student achievement in academia. Admission to an NJIT graduate program is required. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
