Dr. ASEEM MALHOTRA, depicted here, has been named Maha’s Chief Medical Advisor
A newly appointed health adviser of the Trump -Uitgevelvelde Make America Remory Again (Maha) initiative has unveiled a daring plan to revise the health of the nation.
The British cardiologist Dr. ASEEM MALHOTRA, an old ally of Maha leaders such as health secretary Robert F Kennedy JR and NIH head Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, became a member of the movement as a Chief Medical Advisor.
As a cardiologist and former adviser to the British government, Dr. Malhotra campaign for taxes on sugary beverages, worked to reduce the amount of British unnecessary statins and collaborated with government leaders to remove ultraco -codeed food from hospitals and schools.
Dr. Malhotra – Who has appeared on podcasts with Joe Rogan And Tucker Carlson – now also hopes to bring some of those changes to the US.
Speaking with DailyMail.com prior to the official announcement, Dr. Malhotra are top three priorities – the revision of national food guidelines, the fight against ultraco -codeed food and insisting on a moratorium on mrna Covid -vaccines.
“We can definitely make America healthy again in this election period,” said Dr. Malhotra. “I am not here for political reasons. I am here to give the proof again. ‘
The appointment also comes at a time of fighting within the Maha movement and the Trump government, because the former allies of RFK JR have made his choices of health officials.
As a chief medical adviser to Maha – a lobby group of a basis – is Dr. Malhotra is not formally in the service of the federal government, but he will serve as a leading voice of the movement and work closely with Grassroots groups to promote its policy agenda.
Dr. Malhotra will also move from his house in the UK to Washington, DC, to stay closely involved with the HHS, FDA and other important agencies.
Rel defining the American diet

A central pillar of the agenda of Dr. Malhotra updates the American food guidelines, which must be revised later this year.
The guidelines currently advise that 45-65 percent of a person’s daily calories comes from carbohydrates.
But Dr. Malhotra wants that number to be lowered in favor of low -carbohydrate diets, with reference to growing proof that they reduce obesity and type 2 diabetes.
“The re -evaluation of the guidelines takes place,” he said. “I think we can get that pretty quickly.”
Carbohydrate-poor diets defined as approximately 20 to 57 grams of carbohydrates per day, the equivalent of 150 to 400 calories-restricted blood sugar traces and improves insulin sensitivity, reducing the risk of diabetes, which is currently affected by one in ten Americans.
High insulin levels, which are often accompanied by low -carbohydrate diets, also promote fat storage and weight gain.
By rewriting these federal recommendations, Dr. Malhotra that the government can directly influence everything, from lunches for public school to medical advice from doctors.
Maha has already exerted his influence in West -Virginia, which has adopted the most extensive ban on food additive to cleaning up the country of the country to clean up school food.
Arkansas and Indiana have also weighed the possibility to remove junk food from food vouchers.
Dr. Malhotra said this website that these states would be ‘particularly susceptible’ to further limit and serve as an example for lobbying the rest of the country.
Focuses on ‘the new tobacco’

Another cornerstone of his vision: a harsh action against ultracroced food, which he compares in the 1950s.
“Ultracrocessed food should be treated as tobacco,” he told DailyMail.com.
These products, often a lot of sugar, refined oils and synthetic additives, now form more than half of the average American diet.
One study published this year estimated that diets with high ultra -priced food can be responsible for 120,000 early deaths in the US.
With reference to parallels with the public health campaign against cigarettes, Dr. supports Malhotra The policy that would remove these foods from hospitals and schools, where people can be particularly vulnerable.
“These are environments where people expect to be protected, not poisoned,” he said.
He points to the recent ban of Arizona on ultracroced food in public schools – closed to get in force in 2026 – as a model for other states. He believes that California and West Virginia can be the next.
The account of Arizona prohibits food, propyl paraben, titanium dioxide, bromated vegetable oil, yellow 5, yellow 6, blue 1, blue 2, green 3, red 3 and/or red 40 of schools.
Data for public health seem to support its urgency. Studies show that children who consume a lot of ultracrocede feeding are more likely to become obese and suffer from high blood pressure.
In hospitals, poor food choices are linked to poorer results for patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
A controversial vaccine account

Lindy Ayers (left), 31, is a wheelchair -bound after doctors have diagnosed her the Covid vaccine injury. Danielle Baker (Right) from Ohio claims that she has suffered because of the vaccine heart and lung failure
The most controversial attitude of Dr. Malhotra, however, is his call to stop using mrna Covid vaccines.
“It is very clear to me that this is perhaps the most important issue that Maha has galvanized and helped to choose President Trump,” he said.
‘A pandemic of the vaccine is injured. We can no longer make America healthy if we do not tackle this. ‘
Dr. Malhotra estimates that there are ‘hundreds of thousands of’ vaccine injuries, and he wants to adopt states that pauses the use of the vaccines while an extensive assessment is being carried out.
Official federal data offer a more cautious picture.
From the end of 2024, around 14,000 people have submitted injury claims to the American vaccine compensation program, of the 270 million Americans who have received at least one dose.
Recognized vaccine linked conditions such as myocarditis and pericarditis are estimated to be only one in 50,000 recipients.
Still, Dr. Malhotra: “I am not saying that the vaccine had no advantages for some people,” referring to older and immunocompromising groups.
But, he added, the shot has shown more harm than good and should never have been rolled out in the first place. ‘
However, the data that supports his argument is slim.
A study by Yale University earlier this year, in rare cases, identified a possible ‘post-vaccination syndrome’, which suggests a connection to neurological symptoms such as dizziness, brain fog and tinnitus.
However, the researchers emphasized that the study was small and that such effects are probably very rare.
Dr. Malhotra believes that the political landscape is ripe for action. Florida, Idaho and Ohio-All states that have introduced vaccinger-related accounts-in his opinion ‘First Movers’ that can implement a break as soon as this year.
Fellow Maha -Figure Dr. Bhattacharya also supports this approach and tells Dailymail.com in February: “Public Trust can only be restored with a moratorium.”
Reconsideration of medical education

In addition to public policy, Dr. Tackling Malhotra what he calls the crisis ‘reflection’ in America by introducing compulsory nutritional education to medical schools and hospitals.
“Most doctors have no idea,” he said. He agrees with Dr. Midden, which recently beaten American medical schools because they do not offer food courses.
Dr. Malhotra sees this as an opportunity to reduce unnecessary regulations and switch to lifestyle -based treatments.
“Doctors must be trained to help people heal, not just to manage symptoms with pills,” he said.
Currently, 40 percent of Americans older than 65 have five or more prescription drugs, according to one 2024 Jama -Study.
Another report showed that one in three Americans had prescribed a medicine that was inappropriate or unnecessary.
By training future doctors differently, Dr. Malhotra that the health system can turn to prevention, especially for lifestyle -driven disorders such as heart conditions, obesity and diabetes.
Dr. Malhotra hopes to achieve this by using his role as a consultant about the educational content of Maha to set up pilot programs in certain hospitals later this year to introduce nutritional education to doctors and medical students.
The way for us
It remains unclear which states will be first to take on the radical health platform of Maha or how quickly it can get a grip at the federal level. But Dr. Malhotra said the campaign is ready to mobilize.
He said to this website: “I’m going to run the ground and am ready to give everything to make America healthy again.”
And independent experts are already on his side.
Gary Brecka, a biohacker and health coach of celebrities with ties with the Trump family, shared in a statement: ‘The track record of Dr. Malhotra speaks for himself: he has played an important role in reforming worldwide conversations about food guidelines, prevention of heart disease and medical ethics.
“His leadership will be a huge asset to Maha and the future of public health.”
