A developer has unveiled plans for a sky-high $180 million project that could dramatically reshape Surfers Paradise’s famous skyline
Bastion Development Group has submitted a development application to the Gold Coast City Council for the $180 million residential project known as ‘Surfer’.
It follows the purchase of three adjacent sites at 2959 to 25 Surfers Paradise Blvd

Surfer will be a flagship for Bastion’s portfolio, which also includes Nera on Chervon Island, which is valued at $174 million and has achieved a 70 percent turnover.
“We are extremely happy to have submitted the Surfer development application, and we believe so
this project will be a great addition to both Surfers Paradise and the Bastion portfolio,” said Alex Wood, CEO of Bastion Group.
“The Gold Coast is growing and evolving rapidly, and we are proud to contribute to that
evolution.
“There is a strong desire for design-led living in such a central, vibrant location as Surfers
Paradise and Surfer will meet that demand.”
